Description

A consortium of Africa Research and Data Ltd. and Prime Expertise Limited is inviting applications for research assistants for a “Study of Vi Agroforestry’s Impact on Agrobiodiversity through SALM [Sustainable Agriculture and Land Management] and Agroforestry” to be conducted in Bungoma County (Kenya) and Kagera Region (Tanzania).

This study aims to establish the impact of this initiative [SALM and Agroforestry] on agrobiodiversity, focusing on the variety and variability of animals, plants, and micro-organisms used directly or indirectly for food and agriculture, including crops, livestock, forestry, and fisheries. Specifically, the study will delve into the diversity of genetic resources (varieties, breeds) and species used for food, fodder, fibre, fuel, and pharmaceuticals.
