Prime Expertise is committed to enacting its mission with professionalism and integrity. We strive to do business ethically, honestly, and legally and expect the same of our associates, employees, interns, and partners.

We developed and implemented these key best practices policies to ensure that we meet and frequently exceed our statutory obligations. These policies apply to everyone connected with our Company, including all associates, members of our board of directors, employees, interns, partners, and all others who act on behalf of Prime Expertise. All associates, employees, and interns are subject to these policies to make sure how we work lives up to what we do.

Anti-bribery and Anti-corruption

Prime Expertise places high importance on upholding responsible and fair business practices and is committed to promoting and maintaining the highest level of ethical standards in relation to all of its business activities. We take a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption, and we are committed to acting fairly and with integrity in all of our business dealings and relationships.

Our Anti-bribery & Anti-corruption Policy communicates our commitment to full compliance by the Company, our associates, employees, interns, and all third parties working with us, including consortium partners, with the main law governing anti-corruption in Tanzania, i.e., the Prevention and Combating of Corruption Act, 2007, and any other international anti-bribery and/or anti-corruption laws, rules, and regulations that may be applicable from time to time.

Code of Conduct

As representatives of Prime Expertise, we share a vision, a philosophy, a passion, and a commitment to working together to create a world where all have their human rights respected, are treated with dignity, have the ability to control their own lives, and live outside of poverty.

Our Code of Conduct, together with other policies and procedures, provides guidance to help each of us, as we discharge our duties, ensure that we work to achieve our shared ambition and vision while avoiding using possible unequal power relationships for our own benefit. The rules and guidelines contained in this Code of Conduct and the terms and conditions of associates, employees, and interns provide a framework within which we all undertake to discharge our duties and regulate our conduct. All associates, employees, and interns are required to sign the Code of Conduct certifying that, in delivering our consulting services and in all other activities, they will meet appropriate standards of conduct.

Data Protection and Privacy

Prime Expertise is committed to complying with the Personal Data Protection Act 2022, Act No. 11 of 2022 and other relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines, which collectively guide us in how we protect your privacy and maintain the security of any personal information we collect or receive from you.

Our Data Protection and Privacy Policy set out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by Prime Expertise. We are committed to processing data in a lawful, fair, and transparent manner, retaining it only as long as necessary, and safeguarding it against unauthorized use.

Research Data Management

Prime Expertise is committed to complying with the National Research Integrity Framework of Tanzania and other relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines.

Our Research Data Management Policy makes clear the responsibilities of Prime Expertise and its associates and employees regarding the management, storage, access, retention, and disposal of research data and primary research materials in order to adhere to accepted good practices.

Respect and Dignity at Work

Our Respect and Dignity at Work Policy communicates to all of Prime Expertise’s associates, employees, partners, and interns that the Company believes in ensuring a positive and professional working environment and will not tolerate any form of harassment or bullying behaviour under any circumstances. All associates, employees, partners, and interns have the right to a safe, healthy work environment – one where people are treated with respect and dignity and one that is free from bullying and harassment.

Safeguarding and Child Protection

Prime Expertise is firmly committed to safeguarding as an essential component of the services it offers. The Company recognises that all children and vulnerable adults have the right to be free from abuse and to be in an environment where safety and security are paramount. We take very seriously our responsibility and duty to ensure that we, as an organisation, and anyone who represents us do not in any way harm, abuse, or commit any other act of violence against children and vulnerable adults or place them at risk of the same.

Our Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy communicates our commitment and process to protect children and vulnerable adults from any harm that may be caused as a result of their coming into contact with Prime Expertise’s representatives, services, or activities. This includes any harm arising from: the conduct of associates, employees, and anyone working for or associated with Prime Expertise; and the design and implementation of our consulting services and activities.

Whistleblowing

In order to operate in an ethical, responsible, and legal manner, Prime Expertise views whistleblowing as a positive act that can make a valuable contribution. At Prime Expertise, we aim to achieve the highest possible standards of service and the highest possible ethical standards in public life and in all of our practices. Thus, we encourage our associates, employees, and interns who have any serious concerns about any aspect of our business conduct or service provision to come forward and voice those concerns.

Our Whistleblowing Policy is designed to ensure that an associate, employee, or intern can raise his or her concerns about wrongdoing or malpractice within Prime Expertise without fear of victimization, subsequent discrimination, disadvantage, or dismissal.
