Our new report for the consultancy services we provided to the Modern Energy Cooking Services (MECS), a UKAid-funded programme led by the Sustainable Transitions: Energy, Environment, and Resilience Centre (STEER Centre) of the School of Social Sciences and Humanities of Loughborough University, U.K., found out that in urban areas of Tanzania, the traditional way of passing down cooking skills from mothers to daughters has been replaced by the younger generations who prefer to learn through digital platforms and social media.
