New Assignment: Bio-rights Feasibility Study to link alternative livelihoods as incentive to the implementation of Mangroves General Management Plan in Rufiji Delta

As June comes to a close, we at Prime Expertise are excited to share some fantastic news that marks the end of this month on a high note.

On June 14th, we were awarded a contract to conduct a Bio-rights Feasibility Study aimed at linking alternative livelihoods as incentives to the implementation of the Mangroves General Management Plan in the Rufiji Delta. This study, among others, will explore the opportunities and challenges of implementing bio-rights, guiding the selection of villages and communities to adopt these mechanisms. The Plan will support Wetlands International and the Tanzania Forest Service Agency (TFS) in implementing bio-rights within the Rufiji Delta, fostering sustainable development and mangrove conservation through community incentives.

Please explore a brief overview of the study and the main activities we will be undertaking to learn more: https://bit.ly/3Lca6e1.
